How to deal with a confined space that cannot grow in a hospital department where the number of patients and staff keeps increasing is one of the challenges we have been asked to study in the orthopedics center Instituto Cugat in Hospital Quiron Barcelona.

To best address the challenges Squaremmkm team did a few observation sessions to understand the problems, flow of people ( patients and staff), how the spaces are being used and we could run questionnaires to staff and patients to get their inputs.
